Inspection upon arrival

Task Details

1. Verify and accept incoming aluminum ingots, checking details such as packaging method, material identification, and material inspection reports. Once confirmed to be in order, immediately notify a Quality Department inspector to conduct an incoming material inspection.

Control points

  1. The incoming aluminum ingots must be correctly labeled, and the packaging must be intact and free from any signs of exposure to rain;

  2. Unloading and submission for inspection may only proceed after confirming that the incoming inspection report is satisfactory.

Raw Material Testing

Weighing and Label Printing

Assignment Content

  1. The warehouse keeper, in coordination with the supplier, verifies the weight and quantity of incoming materials.

  2. Once verified, the material information is entered into the MAS system, which automatically generates labels—including product details and weight—for that specific batch; these labels are then printed and affixed to the packaging straps on the side of each pallet of aluminum ingots.

    Control points

    1. Material identification matches the actual weight and material;

    2. Labels are securely affixed to prevent them from detaching during transit, which would otherwise hinder traceability.

Warehousing and Placement

Task Details

1. Once all labels and markings have been applied, record the items in the "Aluminum Ingot Inventory Log" and complete the formal warehousing procedures.

2. Place the items into available storage locations and update the warehouse layout board accordingly.

Key Control Points

1. Ensure that the storage location, the inventory log, and the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) management board all correspond accurately; this guarantees that materials are consumed or used in the order they were received (FIFO).

Outbound Processing and Registration

Operational Tasks

1. Verify the inbound date and storage location of the materials to be dispatched.

2. Record the transaction in the "Aluminum Ingot Inbound/Outbound Log" and simultaneously remove the corresponding location card from the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) management board.

Key Control Points

1. Ensure that the materials being dispatched are the ones that were received earliest; guarantee adherence to the FIFO principle.
